Assassin's Creed Reveals Bizarre AoT Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre partnership that challenges usual expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Revealed
According to the authorized statement, "A mysterious meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of prohibited rituals and fearsome transformations echo through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret cult.
The questline concentrates on "strange trials and a fearsome adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Changes
The trailer showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Extra Content
Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an special katana in addition to numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
